Burnin' Water Ski Club
The Burnin' Water Ski Club was founded in the summer of 2000 with 16 charter members. In 2004 our membership increased to over 80. The Burnin' Water Ski Club ski is headquartered on Hyco Lake where most of our members ski.
The purpose of the Burnin' Water Ski club is to promote the sport of Water Skiing and all types of closely related boat towed watersports through group participation, exhibitions, shows, tournaments and associated recreational activities; develop and maintain facilities for Water Skiing; stimulate interest in the community; and work for greater safety in Water Skiing and Riding.
The club consists of members interested in all aspects of waterskiing including barefooting, slalom, wakeboard, wakeskate, wakesurfing, air chair, and show skiing.
Anyone of any ability or age is encouraged to participate. We currently have members from 3 years old to 60 years old. We welcome and encourage new members.
